How to travel in a group

1. Have an organiser
Someone (the bossiest peep!) must take charge to ensure things get done. Show the boss some respect though – they have a tough job.

2. Get it all out
Before you set off, let everybody list their needs or concerns so the group can compromise.

3. Don’t go for too long
Spending three weeks with the same people will get on your nerves eventually. Go for a week to 10 days to make sure you all come back in one piece.

4. Don’t spend all your time together
You don’t have to spend every second together – people should decide what they want to do. Perhaps a few of you want to go shopping, while others head the beach. You can then join up for dinner and show off your tans and souvenirs.

5. Be flexible
You’re on holiday, after all! Some things will go pear-shaped but don’t cry about it. Plan as much as you can, then relax and enjoy your friends and the awesome hols!
